Bioparc Fuengirola
Activity
Bioparc Fuengirola is an immersion zoo in central Fuengirola built on the principle of zoogeography — recreating naturalistic African, Asian, and Madagascan habitats without visible barriers between visitors and animals. The park holds more than 200 species across four distinct zones. 🌿 The four habitat zones — Equatorial African Forest, the Savannah, Madagascar Island, and the Asian Jungle — are home to gorillas, chimpanzees, pygmy hippopotamuses, white rhinos, tigers, orangutans, Komodo dragons, and lemurs. Allow 3–4 hours for a complete visit; some paths involve uneven terrain. ✨ Highlights: 🎟️ Book tickets online in advance or purchase at the entrance 🌍 Participates in European breeding programmes for critically endangered species 🎙️ Daily keeper talks and feeding demonstrations included with entry 👨👩👧 Recommended for families with children aged 4 and above 🏆 International conservation accreditations for animal welfare and education 📍 Calle Camilo José Cela 6-8, central Fuengirola — accessible by local bus
